Safety

Safe, enjoyable riding is our priority. Cherbon Waters Equestrian Centre maintains a high level of safety and care for horses, customers and staff. However that's not to say that riding is without risk. As with any adventure sport there is an element of risk that goes with the excitement but we pride ourselves on our ability to maintain safety while providing an enjoyable experience. Our staff are qualified and experienced horse people, have senior first aid certificates and are trained to help clients with their needs. Our horses are chosen and trained to work together and are kept in good condition by managing their workloads, proper feed and nutrients, care of their physical needs and plenty of attention.

Lesson Formats:

1/2 Hour Private lesson	Aimed at both children and adult beginner students, preparing students for group lessons. One on one instruction for a 30 minute lesson. Horse already saddled. Prices include Helmet and all equipment and instruction. Minimum age 3 years old.
Group lesson	Available for 5 years and above after completing Assessment session. Up to 6 riders in a group.  Prices include Helmet and boots and all equipment and instruction.
Assessment session	Available for 3 years and above Required to be done prior to starting Group lessons. Prices include Helmet and boots and all equipment and instruction.
One Hour and 1/2 Hour Private Lessons (Own Horse or School Horse)	A one on one lesson with the instructor of your choice, on the topic of your choice. These lessons are run outside of normal lesson schedule.
