Riders need positive, safe experiences. This is our aim at Cherbon Waters. All of our horses are vaccinated against the Hendra virus and receive regular booster shots – are the horses you ride safeguarded?

Please call us on 0417 704 671, we would love to discuss how we give you an excellent equestrian experience, whatever your current abilities.

We have a minimum age of 2 years.

Our horses are very well trained and love looking after beginners! Our instructors and staff members are always on hand to ensure you will have a safe and fun riding experience at Cherbon Waters Equestrian Centre.

No you don’t. We have a huge range of horses with just the right temperament, that we will carefully select to suit you. That said, if you would like to bring your own horse to ride, you’re welcome to, as long as your horse is healthy and up to date with vaccinations.

All you need to bring along for a ride is a pair of socks and some comfortable long pants – we will sort you out with boots and helmets, all to the current safety standards.

Yes we do. For your safety, and our horses, Cherbon Waters has a maximum rider weight limit of 100kg.

We have a whole variety of courses depending on your interests and passions. For beginners, we have our Go Gallop courses which teach you the fundamentals of riding and horsemanship. Once you can walk, trot and canter confidently we can offer you courses in dressage, jumping, gymkhana or a combined course (which is a bit of everything) to advance your technical skills. For the more relaxed, casual riders we offer trail riding for all levels of riders.

Absolutely not! We cater to all riders – from those who have never been on a horse before up to advanced showjumpers and dressage riders. We have lessons to suit all skill levels.

No you don’t. You can book a one-off trail ride or lesson without any obligation.

A Trail Ride is simply a relaxed ride through the native bushland on our property. The beauty of a Trail Ride (or Horse Trek) is that you don’t need to have any prior horse riding experience at all. If you’d like to find out more about enjoying a Trail Ride at Cherbon Waters, fill out an enquiry here, or just call us on 0417 704 671.
