Fantastic instructors, great horses, beautiful grounds. I got married here in November 2015 (which the owner was amazing and helped out so much when we had issues), and have been taking lessons for going on 8 months. Every lesson I learn something new. ‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌

We had my daughters 6th birthday party at Cherbon Waters Equestrian Centre, and I can’t speak highly enough of how wonderful the day went and how fabulous the staff were. The girls got to go on a trail ride and even tried some bare back riding on two of the older horses. It was certainly a day all the girls won’t forget! Thanks to Trevor and the team!

A beautiful afternoon, my daughter her friend and myself went on a trail ride and it was just perfect for beginners. The instructors were very kind and explained everything so well. Gladly recommend this place and go back again.

HORSE RIDING

Where should I start?

Horse Riding can take you in so many directions, so the first question you should ask is “Do I want to ride for fun, or would I like to have lessons and learn to ride?”.

We recommend a Trail Ride as the best place to start. Join a Sunday Group Trail Ride or invite a friend or two on your own Private Trail Ride.

Horse Riding Lessons are our specialty. Get started with some private lessons, then progress to Group Lessons, then later look at our combined courses or advance to Dressage or Jumping…the choice is yours.

Start with a Private/Assessment lesson so we can assess your level of ability, then the horse riding world is your oyster. Talk to us about all the options available here at Cherbon Waters.

Whether it’s Private Lessons, Group Lessons, Gymkhana, Courses, Holiday Camps, Dressage, Jumping or more, we have you covered. You can pay as you go, or buy lessons in blocks and save money. Click HERE for details.

That’s a great question and one we get often. if you’ve never ridden a horse before,  we suggest a  Group Trail Ride  which run every Sunday. It’s a great way to be introduced to a horse and the basics of riding, all at a safe and leisurely pace on horses that “know the drill”. Bring a friend too.

No you don’t. We have a huge range of horses with just the right temperament, that we will carefully select to suit you. That said, if you would like to bring your own horse to ride, you’re welcome to, as long as your horse is healthy and up to date with vaccinations.
