TRAIL RIDING

Trail riding at Cherbon Waters Equestrian Centre is a great opportunity for you and/or your child or friends, to “try out” the experience of riding a horse for the first time, or perhaps have a refresher ride if it’s been a while. Cherbon Waters  offers both Sunday Group Trail Riding sessions for small groups (up to 10) as well as Private Trail Rides.

Trail rides are a great option for all riders, especially beginners, going for an hour at a leisurely walk and trot through the beautiful grounds at Cherbon Waters. We’ll have your horse ready for you when you’re ready to start your ride. Once your ready to go, we’ll give you some basic instruction on the essentials like how to hold the reins, how to make your horse go, how to make your horse stop etc.  Everyone will follow each other in a line…our beginner horses all “know the drill”, and when riders are comfortable we’ll move into a trot, and that will be your first safe experience on a horse.

Group Trail Rides are held every Sunday (sessions times are on the booking form) and cost $58 per rider – minimum age 7 years old. Boots and helmets in all sizes are supplied.

Private Trail Rides can be organized for weekdays or weekends. Private Trail Rides for 2 or more riders are for one hour and are fully escorted by our professional instructors.

Cost is $85 per person for a minimum of two riders or $77 per person for 3 riders or more

A 50 minute Private Trail Ride for single riders is also available for a cost of $110.
